Slack will add your comment to that task with a link back to the original discussion. Simply select Add as task comment from the more options menu, search for the relevant task, and add a little context. This ensures conversations become actionable and that the work ultimately gets done.Īnother great use is adding a message as a comment on an existing task. It also adds a link back to the exact message if you or a teammate need further context. This gives you a quick dialogue box to add details.
